Asif Rice Group is a Pakistani company headquartered in Karachi and involved in rice farming, milling, processing and exporting.〔(Methodology Guide )〕 Launched as a private company in 1962 by Shah Muhammad Sheikh with the initial idea of rice trading and milling, its operations were handed to Mumtaz Ali Sheikh in 1982, under whom it became a family business.
